Unfortunately, due to scheduling conflicts, Jenn Colella and Caissie Levy had to back out of the November 9th concert. However, Katie Thompson has stepped in to perform the world premiere of "No Reason at All", one of Jonathan's new songs in the second installment of Cutting-Edge Composers: A New Generation of Musical Theater Songwriters. The concert will be held at 8:00pm on November 9, 2009 at the Canal Room in New York City. Doors open at 7:30pm. Presented by Josh Young, the concert will feature the songs of Jeremy Schonfeld, Peter Lerman, Brian Lowdermilk and Kait Kerrigan, Jonathan Reid Gealt, Brad Alexander and Adam Mathias, Chris Miller and Nathan Tysen, Creighton Irons and Sean Mahoney, Joshua Salzman and Ryan Cunningham, Joe Iconis, and Ryan Scott Oliver. Laura Pietropinto directs and Julie McBride is music director. Initial set of performers include Tituss Burgess (Guys and Dolls), Joe Cassidy (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels), Lilli Cooper (Spring Awakening), Matt Doyle (Spring Awakening), Colin Hanlon (Rent), Lauren Kennedy (Vanities), Jeremy Kushnier (Jersey Boys), Brooke Sunny Moriber (The Threepenny Opera), Lance Rubin (The Black Suits), Daphne Rubin-Vega (Rent), Katie Thompson (R.R.R.E.D.), Jason "Sweettooth" Williams (The Black Suits) and Josh Young (Les Misérables).
